   इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय ने केशव सिंह केस के बारे में दिनांक 10 मार्च , 1965 के अपने निर्णय में ( जो उच्चतम न्यायालय के परामर्श-मत के बाद दिया गया ) इस प्रकार कहा है : हमारा मत है कि प्राधिकार की दृष्टि से तथा संविधान के संगत उपबंधों के विचार की दृष्टि से यह मानना ही होगा कि अनुच्छेद 194 ( 3 ) के आधार पर विधान सभा को अपनी मानहानि के लिए कार्रवाई करने की वैसी ही शक्ति प्राप्त है जैसी शक्ति हाउस आफ कामंस को प्राप्त है .
